Hi I have been using BSNl broadband in blore for the past 4 months. Everything was fine till 2 weeks ago. Now I am just not able to browse any sites. It just shows me the cannot display the requested page error. I am not able to contact service center via phone and am planning to talk to them this weekend. Just wanted to know if anyone can provide me with some kind of solution.Thanx in advanceEdit: I have a router from Nokia siemens.. dont remeber the model number

TRY this:
Start RUN type cmd Ok
New window appears.
Type ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /renew

2. Your connection to the Internet is not made.
Check whether you can receive send mail in OE or Outlook.

3.Check all connections. Whether the Data LED shows any activity.

4. Also copy/paste [color=RED"]ipconfig /all [/color
]data here .

5. Access the modem by typing 192.168.1.1 ID admin PW admin
check Diagnostics page. report fail components.

6.Confirm whether you are in "DIALER" mode
( USERID/PW entered in a Window in Computer )
or
"Always On" mode ( UserId/PW stored in modem )
7
check your modem settings here. ( Find model number also )

the main problem is many use BSNL dns servers .... please use other;s like Level3 openDNS google and many open dns service providers ..... mostly use an DNS software to be more proteceted ..........

yes, works for me on BSNL with google DNS :) dont worry... they are not evil :P

Well, why isnt it opening up for me then? I mean ever since i started using Google DNS, i cannot open up that specific link. I am an old subscriber with 59.xx.xx.xx IP. Once i revert back to OpenDNS, i can open up that link.

what is the complete list of DNS servers you have specified in your PC and modem/router and in what ORDER??? make sure google DNS is at the top and you run "ipconfig /flushdns" ... then report back...
