BSNL Broadband On Vista ?!

I just got a data one home500 plan from bsnl. I plan to use it on my laptop running windows vista. I tried installing it via USB but the drivers refuse to install stating some problem. So i connected it using ethernet cable. The modem , a ut300r2u, got detected. Then i set up a internet connection from control panel. But when i try to connect, the thing just halts at the point where it says connecting to the WAN miniport PPPOE. . . . And then it gives an error. So could anyone please help me. Its urgent. Thanks in advance.

Please try first "AlwaysOn Mode "
Go to WAN page in modem.
deselect bridged and selectt PPP/PPPoE
Do not add @ bsnl.in in user ID. Save and reboot.
If still not geting connected, report ipconfig/all

Sometimes it could be BSNL connection itself. I use BSNL connection on vista and have seen this problem where it hangs at "Connection to WAN Miniport". But the problem got solved after sometime by itself.

Well, i've been trying this thing since 3 days but in vain. I followed the above thing and still its just stops at the screen and gives an error about remote server not responding. . . . . So please anyone can enlighten me about solution to this problem. . . . I'm in urgent need.

post ipconfig/all modem's WAN page screenshot. TRY In IE :check Tools/Internet options/connections//internet connection never dial a connection. LAN settings uncheck automatic settings.

@anziclone once you set your modem to ppoe mode.. you dont need to use the dialer anymore..

Good. Did you enter your name without @ bsnl.in and give the password ?
enter . Save and REBOOT ( wait for 2 minutes ) VPI VCI )0 AND 35
Status page shows no connection.
As told below you need not use dialer now. First get connected, and later we will check the dialer (wanminiport settings ). If still not working
Para two ; Your OS Vista. Start/ network/ Local area Network/ properties
TCP/IP properties
select IPV6 disable.

Encapsulation mode - LLC and Authentication mode is AUTO.. So i guess it has to be set to AUTO

Tried everything above, in authentication, i've only PAP and CHAP. still not working. ppl i'm frustrated what to do? Tried everything above......
