BSNL Broadband: Poor download in UL 750 Plus

hi,i too recently switched to home UL 750 plus plan from 500c plan.as it is said, i should get atleast 256kbps speed. but am not even getting 64kbps. i.e., my download speed is not even exeeding 7-8 kBps. when i called our regional JTO, he said it is because of virus.. what the hell is this.. if people doesnt know about things, why dont they accept?? i just had installed my new os and called that person..anyhow.. please help me out on how to reach atleast that 256 kbps speed..thanks in advance..harish

Oh, thats not good news.. I was planning to move to UL 750 myself..

you will get speed around 28-32 KB/s only no way to increase this speed until you change your plan
