Welcome to broadbandforum.co
Suggestion 1 : In "Tags" type port forward or portforwarding and see old threads.
Suggestion 2: as given by@appus. Choose the modem/router from listat the web site.
Suggestion 3 :Oopen your modem settings page 192.168.1.1/main.html or home.html
See the menu Advanced : Virtual server applications etc.
Suggestion 4: If you are using Wanminiport Dialer no PF required.
If using "Always On" mode and still having difficulty give modem/router model and application/s or port you want to access for further help here.
Feedback.

check that port is also opened in widows firewall(enabled by default until you turned it off)or any other firewall you are using.

i turned off all firewalls. i am using bsnl home 500 plan. my modem type is Huawei smartax mt882. when i download using IDM the speed is more than 200kbs but with utorrent it is only 10kbs.utorrent says my port is not open. i have tried everything in portforward.com but it is not working.

members/arunkumarvikram/Congrats. At least you should have mentioned where the mistake was done, in the settings, to help others , who pursue this thread at a later date.I don't use torrents, so could not explain from own practical use. .

I have port forwarded my modem and i hav got around 120kBps in torrent. But for the past two days my torrent speed doesn't exceed 5kBps. When i checked with torrent, it shows the error message that the port is not open. But i hav configured again and it shows the error message that the port is not opened. There is a problem with my internet explorer for the past two days. Whenever i close the IE, it gets closed with a error message that "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close"Whether this is the cause for the slow download speed in torrent. 1)I hav made a scan with avast antivirus and it reveals nothing. 2)I didn't update my OS in windows website. 3)Whether system restore is a better option? 4)Whether anybody is facing same problem like me?
