@kalyan_1980
if any thing goes wrong, is there any possible for me to get the Data One sw.
In the modem option is there, to save configuration
to the Hard disk.
I have not tried to recover from a failed FW update.

Post screen shot of Device Status
of your UT300R2U

Para two:
If on rental basis, BSNL may replace the modem !
Depends on the CC & Tech/staff.
See at least the modem opens!
Para two:
Did you see the Airtel forum thread?
Command prompt option for FW upgrade
will show progress. or failure.

Ok. Thanks for your reply. I will update it and give my feedback. I have one question, what could i do, if my update failure? :huh:

I m using ZTE USB Modem 3197. It's downloading speed is nice about 150 kbps but when I play online games like Counter Strike (CS) it shows latency above 300 :confused:I used to play CS on 40-50 latency on Sify broadband connection which had download speed 30 kbps. So I m assuming the prob here is coz of blocked ports necessary for CS.If I m right can some1 plz tell me the procedure of port forwarding :huh:I m really desperate to do so coz gaming is the only reason I bought this connection.
