BSNL Broadband without Landline Rent ?? is it possible

In Selfcare site i see there's a Landline plan listed as Rs.0 for BroadbandCan you guys post, do you opt for a Landline plan along Broadband plan ??is it compulsory to opt for a talk plan along broadband, like in cellphone providersCombo plans usually include free call units, so is it possible to opt for ZERO Rent + Broadband.I am currently using Rs.99 sulabh (no outgoing) plan + BBG FN 500 for many years, but i don't mind saving Rs.99 more :tongue_smilie:

You can choose any of the Combo plans and stay away from rent. Now there is also a zero rental plan for which you will be charged Rs.1 Per MB and absolutely no other rent. Most Combo plans (except UL 750 Combo) offer free calls.

Switch to BBG FN Combo 500 or BBG FN Combo 600, you will get 175, 250 free calls respectively.

BB Home Combo UL 750 doesnt seem to have any call units - 512 kbps @ 750...

Essbebe, thats what keeping me aback from changing plan. Already thought 100 times, and still no conclusion, 2.5GB now seems less than what i need for day to day usage, Nights i can download stuff, but I am not into heavy downloading but I hate slow speeds.so there's no cheaper 2mbps plan at bsnl and i think i should stick to current plan itself as Bandwidth over-usage is now 20p/mb.I am now using Reliance Netconnect BB+ for mostly day usage as it has good speed in my area and I get [email protected]/7 daysAlso I think i might start recharging it for Rs.1000 which gives 10GB + 30days + 1x Browsing if i use 10GB before end of 30 days.

Have you checked PREpaid plans ( vouchers ) of BSNL?
for same 2 Mbps speed and 10GB available upto 45 days ?

That would be Rs.1000 for 30 days plan, thats higher than what i can do on my existing BBG FN 500 Staying on BBG FN 500 , I get night downloading free, and for day usage if i even cross 1GB a month, I would pay only 661 (500+99+Tax) + RS.200 for the extra GB on bsnl bb.so it comes to 881 with 3.5GB Day usage and 30 nights capable of downloads upto 100GB as bonus.I don't need 100GB night downloading etc,so I've now planned 2.5GB BSNL Broadband usage, 5 or 10GB plan on Netconnect+ @ Rs.800/1000 so for Rs.1661 a month I would have 10GB Bandwidth at my disposal even when I am away from home + 2.5GB day usage when I am on BSNL BB.and if I suspect crossing my 12.5GB quota I can either pay Rs.200 over usage to BSNL, or Raise my netconnect+ voucher to 1200 which will give me 5 Extra GB'sessbebe Thanks for your time, i appreciate your efforts.I don't think my city has any better plans than this
