BSNL Broadband's new revolutionary (lol) broadband plans with minimum 2mbps speeds (lol)

Well why there is FUP in first place ? Wasn't it implemented to prevent service abuse? FUP is meant to punish top dogs (1-5%) from clogging the pipe for the rest of 95%. However, i l'm certain that FUP limit is being trigged by as much 80% users( Gonna be 99.99% once 1GB BS is introduced) which concludes that current FUP limit set by Indian ISP is ridiculously low!

A fair FUP should be 50% of bandwidth per month. Less if speeds are incredibly fast. Super fast wired broadband with very low uniform bandwidth per month suck donkey balls!

How this crappy policy of redefining broadband speed in India would work in favour of BSNL and attract new customers is just beyond me.

They probably think we are illiterate just like them.Someone give R.S. Prasad a tight slap to his face and tell him the actual meaning of a revolution.

They will probabaly increase the speed to 4 Mbps next year and think that will get them more customers.:wasntme:

I can see on the archived signatures at the bottom:

Sushubh I support this petition. Airtel Broadband cannot go down to the levels of Sify Broadband! 2/25/2009 5:18:02

Is that you?

Right. Perhaps it's time we do the same and write a similar petition to the CMD, BSNL. What say?

We can try but i doubt they'd give an actual toss about it.They know it,we need internet and there are not enough options as most other ISP have FUP too.
