Somebody needs to tell BSNL that Yahoo already provides 1 TB free email storage. I think Gmail provides 10 GB free storage. Most free email services provider already gives tons of storage compared to 1 GB by BSNL.

Too bad the aunties working at BSNL does not know anything.

Off course it will.After all it is Fair User Policy that Government can boast as it is literally "Fair".

For all those bashing govt for FUP (Fair Usage Policy), just wanted to inform that govt organisation has nothing to do with FUP. Every company worldwide has FUP.
When I had Sky broadband in UK with unlimited 4 Mbps connection, they also had FUP, only that limit was very high, perhaps 40-50 GB. Beside postpaid mobile connection which I had, was having unlimited calls to landline, but condition was that call must not be more then 1 hour. If call duration exceeds 1 hour, they start charging. They recommended to diconnect call at 59 minute and redial again. I felt it strange (and stupid), but anyways it was their FUP rule for unlimited landline call.

About BSNL as well, having FUP is not issue, but limit should be much higher ~20 GB should be good limit instead of ridiculous 1 GB limit.

Google fibre with a speed of 1GBps has no fup and many isps also have no fup or a very good fup policy

That's the reason the FUP is defined as F"ck u Policy in India. Ridiculous high prices (comparable to international prices despite low PPP income) and useless FUP doesn't fare well!

Bashing is justified.1 GB limit is laughable.Even 20 GB is less for my plan.Hence,The Fair User Policy is only justified if its actually fair rather than this falsly implied term Fair over here.

Even if you pay a good amount of money(3k),you still get ridiculous amount of speed decrease to so called 512 kbps the MINIMUM BROADBAND.
(P.S.-Even the 2 mbps after FUP is unfair for a 3k+ plan.)

I already said above that BSNL's FUP is ridiculous. 1GB would be consumed in Windows update only
