For a moment there I was elated that my post fup speeds for my 8mbps plan
would be 2mbps.

But knowing the fine print there has been no change in the FUP limits.

The plan obviously has some hidden stuff. 2 MBPS is better than 512 for folks who don't download 24x7 and just surf the net. It is better than before.
