BSNL disconnecting frequently

Congratulation Manish24! I used to face same problem in Amritsar with ULD1350 plan. Got corrected after giving written application to BSNL Grevience department. Always remeber, government official are afraid of written applications. Get it attested from greviance department & they have to rectify your issues.

Right.But I don't think it would affect them much if they start providing 1 Mbps as the base speed.They need to get rid of those old 512 Kbps plans soon.

Btw, my FUP got reset today :o Completed my quota on 7th or 8th of this month.. But now I'm getting 4mbps again!! I hope this keeps happening.. I'll try to finish the 20GB again.. and see if it resets again :tongue:
 
I've been facing this frequent disconnect problem for quite a while now. Called the exchange and complained, they said they'll see what they can do. Obviously nothing happened. I've complained about 10 times so far. They sent a lineman who says "line is fine,sir. modem problem". I've used 3 different modems and I see disconnects in all of them. Sad part is, even though i live in Bangalore, BSNL is the only ISP with coverage in my area. FML.
How long does it take for them to respond if you file a complaint using that grievance form ?
 
^ I got a call from them every day. Not from just one guy but multiple. They even called me thrice to confirm if my speed is set to 4mbps. Since you've different problem. See if the new modem+router will work. Else just keep filling that form in my sig.

I've already made the ticket. Only got 1 call from a guy who asked if landline is proper. I told him that my broadband is the real problem and he said we'll call you back. No contact from them ever since.

EDIT: I tried making the complaint again. It says "Duplicate docket found" because my old one is still pending.
