BSNL EVDO Broadband: Port forwarding

I think essbebe can solve this problem of port forwarding of bsnl usb evdo modem.

But the latest opinion is my postings are all useless, and all basic and I don't know how to answer properly in this Forum !!
However I will guess a solution. I have not seen/used any unit.

try to draw analogy with the BSNL dataone DSL modem/router and EVDO modem/router
EV-DO more likely to be same as LAN wireless adapter in your computer/laptop.You plug it and receive in wireless mode the data.
If it is like a wifi router other laptops/computers can also access Internet,
which I think is not possible.
Any programming possible, I don't know as usual !

easy to locate the IP of the router.... just trace to any website and look at the 1st hop.eg: tracert yahoo.co.inonce you have the router IP then try to access the web interface by using internet explorer.and then you can follow the rest of it from there i suppose.

Hi,What about the Modem User name and Password.i blocked thr. i think they used to change the default user and pass one.i try admin admin , not working for me :wall:thaxSany

the pass and username can be retrieved by contacting ur exchange..if the pass and u n is corrupted in any way, they will reconfigure the device within no time..

i already called them but they don't want to give me the modem user name and password, i bought the modem and i don't hav permission to access it, its so crazy. do u hav ny idea, i guss they changed the default user name and password. The dataone modem from ZTE can access using admin admin U - P. this one no chance , can i reset the password , if i reset it ny thing need to reflash ?

u cannot flash the device.. take the device to the exchange from where u bought it.. tell them that u need to reconfigure the device as it is not working.. even if they dont reconfigure the device u can retrieve the password from them.. u ll need to furnish ur identity details in that case so as to make sure that the device is not stolen.. better go there with the box...

i think the EVDO is juss like a NIC card. if we need to forward the port it need to be done in the router that located in bsnl exchange, the common ports like 21 for FTP is too firewalled , if ny thing can do only BSNL . All the doors r closed. looks every thing screwed with EVDo in the case of portforwarding
