BSNL Experience Unlimited BB 249: 1mbps unlimited (2mbps for 1st GB) for six months for Rs. 249

Thug life.

You said it bro....

Bsnl is doing everything possible to minimise jio efect.

Absolutely not.....

It is all Reliance Jio tactics to squeeze out incumbents..... on one side there is Reliance Jio and on other BSNL..... Ultimate aim would be to create Jio monoply......

What to worry about when "Desh ka Pradhan Sewak" is promoting/ launching your product...... well that is another riddle.... who is sewak and who is master...

Jio has definitely shaken up the telecom industry..... Since yesterday I did not see the "OPEN Network" Advt. neither did I see the "SMALL Big IDEA..... joh badal de apki duniya"....

But it is of little relevance for people like me...... already have a good voice plan from MTS .5p/s without any commitment, do not need data on go and have YNetwork 5Mbps unlimited plan.....

Using PM's photo in ads is a poor marketing technique by Reliance. I am pretty sure that its an unauthorized usage and probably illegal ?. I did not see Modi openly asking people to use Jio. So Desh ka Pradhan Sewak launching a private product is not really true as claimed by few. Even I can launch some product and put some VIP's photo and mislead people. Now don't call me a bhakt please.

If anyone has the capacity to fight with Jio, its BSNL+Railtel+BBNL. They have to get out of the typical govt mentality. Its slowly happening and will take time.

you are saying that jio used pm's image in their ads without approval from the pmo? ok.

and good luck escaping the law if you think putting the photo of modi in your ads in a national daily would be ignored by the pmo.

BSNL and MTNL should now considering shutting their operations and moving to another country.

Come on folks. Did the Prime Minister ask / promote Jio in his own voice or in writing?.

When a famous personality wins something or gets award or in some special occasion , it's quite common to congratulate them or dedicate some products / services to them. This is what Jio has done. Happened when Sachin retired too. Does that mean that Sachin promotes their products?, No. Going by the arguments made in Twitter, Swamy Vivekananda, Tagore etc should also be considered as brand ambassadors / advertisers of Jio.

Jio ad makes reference to Digital India initiative and dedicates their service to support it. There is no reference whatsoever to PMO officially/personally endorsing the products anywhere. From initial enquiries in PMO and Jio tells us that there was no written permission at all. Saw in Twitter that someone filed RTI in this regard. Let's wait for official reply.

A Pune based real estate company called Maples or something did a similar trick recently and PMO took action. They may also take action on Reliance. But Ambani ji will make sure that it will not come out in media.

I have been MTNL's Landline, Mobile and Broadband user...... and I can tell you better.....

Landline: utter disregard for customer...... I have paid bill for many months even when line was technically disconnected due to MTNL's fault.... Other market LL instrument are mostly not compatible with their service and their's won't work properly..... so its only you suffering..... And you can keep on complaining....

Broadband: The less said the better...

Mobile: I have a postpaid connection which does not get any signal at my home or office..... And I have complained, I don't know how many times..... This connection I took for roaming as I had to travel to North East and only postpaid connections were allowed roaming...

btw their tv and radio campaign have also started featuring our beloved Prime Model :p

Sir now you are being sarcastic... "Where the mind is without fear"...... Yes definitely...... Ambani's & Adani's have no fear whatsoever.... Where Cars drive themselves.... where Deer's shoot themselves..... where High courts can not make simple calculations...... yes.. yes.. yes..

Did you give written complaints to higher officials?. That always works here in Mangalore. Twitter complaints are being attended and actually solved within 48 hours even if it is raining cats and dogs. This is in remote rural area. I am actually surprised to hear that they are not solving problems in big cities.

My family has been using BSNL / Government landline services since 1970s. Our hundred+ relatives /friends use BSNL services. None ever had compatibility issues with after market hardware.

Have been using BSNL mobile since 2004. BSNL Broadband since 2007. Have had issues randomly .

Things definitely changed rapidly during past two years. They still mess up once in a while due to earth work/ old hardware . Simple written complaint to local exchange / area / zone office solves issues. Staff actually fear customer complaints as they will be held accountable and strict actions are being taken. And things are solved quickly. I highly recommend you to give written complaints to higher officials. Even if that doesn't work, write at PG Portal / Telecom Minister / PMO PG Portal. Every senior official will call you and staff will come running.

Bsnl may not offer high speed data services yet. But they are inexpensive, no false billing and quite reliable. This will definitely improve as National Fibre Optic Network roll out process continues.

So please have some patience and make some written complaints. Things will definitely change.

Having said above.... I would like to add that my experiences on BSNL network while roaming have been good....

It seems in Delhi these MTNL people are heavily bribed by other operators from top to bottom..... that's why they keep their network in worst possible condition... so that customer move to other operators like Airtel, Voda etc....
