BSNL Fiber FTTH Jammu and Kashmir Circle

I think this should help, i did nothing else , its not peak time right now so maybe speed is better , but the fact i wanted to highlight was that I never to to get better speed on wifi. Also for firmware , my version is 1.26..... something , I found 1.30 by google search but you have to risk to download from unknown source , file was around 8Mb, usually TP-Link used to keep all latest firmware download link on official website , for Syrotech i read somewhere that you need to mail them support@syrotech.... something that id is mentioned on website and ask for latest firmware , maybe they either provide file or link. I am not sure. And it may reset the device n all settings also device needs to be connected on power during updates
Bro pls go through my Screenshots as well. The only difference I can see is "Gateway Name" on the top right side.

For me gateway name is model name .
Device Model SY-GPON-1110-WDONT
Hardware Version V1.0
SoftWare Version 1.0.26-200308
Do check if you have same device model , version can be different and it can be updated ,but if model is different then maybe speed can differ . Are you using voice also or only internet?

@Tenet this is only a Temporary solution, your WLAN connection will start degrading again in a few days.

Just get a good Dual Band router and should be fine.

As far as VOIP is concerned, I don't use VOIP so cant help with that.

I am actually struggling to configure voip for calls via landline via internet, its free with bsnl ftth plans ,but mine is not getting configured in router
Yes, i have activated VOIP service. Local line man came and configured the modem for VOIP and activated the number after a day from the exchange.

Can you verify if settings look like this , as we are from same region bsnl vendor people should be using same kind of config in router/onu .
Only change should be landline no. Which should start with 91191xxxxxxx and i was told password will be same i.e. whole 91191xxxxxxx , on most videos on YouTube password is mentioned as 0000 and some say only landline no. Without code , my voip status always shows registering in place of Registered . If case if you have any idea about password as described above or if settings you can crop /hide landline no. And can share pics , if you have no idea about this, then its fine , will chase vendor for this, its not that urgent for me but wanted to set it up

I guess in jammu mostly the default MTU setting was 1492. I used to get 20 mbps in day and 40-50 mbps during nighttime before.
This reduction in the speed is because BSNL changed servers.i

I have 799 100 Mbps plan and strange thing is that My speedtest results show 10 Mbps download speed and 90 Mbps Upload speed. Very strange !!
