Hi,
Can you please help with the VOIP configuration. Due to a problem, the modem (Optinet) was reset. I was able to bring up the Data(Internet) but VOIP is proving to be challenging. I have the following setup:

1) Mode=Route; Protocol=IP4 Static; VLAN Enabled; VLAN ID: 1830; 802.1p=(null); MTU=1500; IP address=10.xxx.yy.zz; Subnet=255.255.255.255; Gateway=10.xxx.yy.1; Service Mode=VOICE.

2) Ping to the IP address and Gateway is fine with no packet loss.

3) WAN Info shows correct VLAN ID(1830), status(UP), IP address(10.xxx.yy.zz).

4) Enabled SIP and entered SIP Register Addr as 192.168.149.78 (ping for this is also fine) with port 5060. Also entered same ip for Primary SIP Proxy and Domain. Enabled "Line 1" with phone number and password as "0000".

However, VOIP Service State is always showing "Registering".

Please suggest if there is anything wrong.

Thanks very much in advance,
Vaidya.

Hi,

Just got a call from BSNL that they have fixed the registration at the back-end. The landline (VOIP) is working fine now.

Regards,
Vaidya.
