I'm currently using Airtel Xstream Fiber with 200MBPS plan. Whenever I switch to google dns 8.8.8.8, 50% of the websites stop working. There's BSNL fiber available in my area and I'm thinking to switch to that.
Is BSNL fiber any better than airtel?

How would switching to Google DNS give raise to issue with ISP?
Seems like there's a prob somewhere else.

With normal DNS on BSNL, having no issue with most of the sites.

@rajat_ How's the range on Sercomm AOT-4221SR?
I'm currently using Dasan H660GM-A, coverage is kinda bad.
Hardly covers 1 floor, earlier got the Nokia G-2425G-A, had band disconnect issues with that one.

Sercomm AOT-4221SR is a poor router in terms of performance. Range is decent but it can't handle multiple clients properly.Also i had some weird issue with IPv6 while using it. I have not used the ZTE F670L. I would suggest you to get the sercomm router and put it in bridge mode and then add your own router. TP-Link archer C6/A6 or Tenda AC10 are some of the budget routers which perform much better compared to the one provided by airtel be it sercomm, dragonpath, ZyXEL or ZTE. If you have can extend your budget go for a WiFi-6 router like the mercusys MR60X or TP link Archer AX10. If you live in a multi-storey house then invest in a good mesh router in order to get full coverage.
Don't rely on ISP provided router if you want good performance and range. They are just as good as a dumb ONU nothing more than that.
