A few things I learned so far, Skypro CDN has an Anycast IP address and any public DNS resolves the URL to the private IP address. So, I guess with custom DNS setup like PiHole and others, private IP addresses are blocked in their settings and that's why the IP address of Skypro IPTV is blocked and the player cannot play anything since the server is unreachable.
I disabled the rebind protection option in Unbound and now the Skypro IPTV app can reach the CDN and play channels.
For anyone who has got PlayboxTV activation with IFTV, you can use Fancode app separately. Use activate partner link to enable your partner pass. Fancode partner activation link
@sloj - Looks like Kerala circle also had a soft start of SkyPro iptv. I got successfully registered at https://fms.bsnl.in/iptvreg and installed the app on TV. All authentication okay at app , but whenever trying to play any channel getting an error "Unable to play the channel , please connect to skypro network" Is this due to the DNS issue , since I am behind an AdGuard Home ?
@vu3knb Try what @greghouse said. He uses AdGurad Home too. If that doesn't work then chances are the setup isn't complete from Skypro side in your local node for the CDN.
Also, install the Skypro selfcare app on your phone to check which channels are included in your package.
pointed the CDN ip (172.30.255.37) to domain name ( local-cdn.skypro.co.in ) and now ping to this url works in command prompt. But no luck on Skypro app . May be it is getting rolled out , will wait for few days and try
