i was playing in europe server with/without VPN and my ping was under 160. Now without any vpn in EU im getting 250 ping.

I play some old games where asian servers are dead and im forced to play in Europe.

I have fiber internet and use lan. I called bsnl and the engineer told me i have the best latency/ping package.

Any solutions?

Thanks.
Instead of specfic game server IP can i just use IP from the country the server's are based in? Example my connection to Germany?
And how do i use Traceroutes? Is it the cmd command?
I've raised my ping issue with bsnl support before and the guy just told that they will try to fix it but nothing happened.

1. Its better to have Game server IP because in some cases different servers within the same country can have different latencies.
E.g: AWS latency to Tokyo is stable 145 for me but Genshin server in Tokyo have variable latency 156-220 ms. Keeps fluctuating.

2. You can use it with cmd or the WinMTR software. WinMTR is better but they might want CMD so do both and keep records.

3. Ask them for email id of the team which works on the Latency issue. They have to raise your routing issue with the MPLS team using BMAC tool (private IP which cannot be accessed by you).

4. If BSNL doesn't fix it then you need a VPN with Mumbai server which has good routing to Germany/Europe. Exit lag is good but comes at a high cost and only works for games.

@!!..PD..!! Thank you.
Got it. I am still trying to login to bsnl portal and connect it to my landline number. I will ask them for email address.
What is this BMAC tool? I have been calling my local guy and hes not helpful at all.

I have VPN but its making things worse. I'll look into Exit lag!

Its there internal tool. They raise our complaints through that tool.
From what I know, self-care doesn't help with complaints and most people close complaint without resolutions.
Give a written complaint to your BSNL office JTO/SDO and get keep a copy with yourself.
If they don't help then raise it on the BSNL PGRMS portal.

@!!..PD..!!
The technician came home. I have 2 routers basically one white one from BSNL and the second one is the main router. The guy told me i can upgrade to 5G box but it wont help with speed to much. What should i do? Im already paying more than 1200 inr and really getting frustrated with the ping recently.
