Take a backup of the current setting using the last option in the right hand side menu. Simply restore it using the same menu.
Sorry how do i do that? I am a noob here. Please could you enlighten me with steps to do that. I will try this now.

First, use another modem and check. Your modem is too old model. So it might have reached EOL. Then we can proceed further. I will try to make a guide by that time.

ok sure thanks, right now i do not have any other modem with me to check this.

Your can always borrow from one of your friend. Since your modem is an EOL model, resetting could ruin all of it. So it is safe to test it first.

Hi there friends, mine died more than a year ago, but luckily I just found a solution!
The problem is because of the heat, so place it directly in front of the fan,
or use a dedicated fan powering from the smps(I just ripped off one from an dead smps & connected it to the current one)
Still now working fine no probs. Please don't throw it away.

After resetting it configure from here Hope it helps you. Setup is also available on youtube. If resetting does not help then just junk it & buy your own.
BTW Its is helpful if your location is visible in your profile.
