In cmd and copy paste the results. Are you sure, you havent enabled mac address control in your router ? Click on mac address filter link on your router's page, take a screen shot and post it here.

Click the Wifi icon. context menu select Status
page opens
Say shows Not connected ( first entry )
click "diagnose"
follow instructions
may connect or give an error message.
report here.


LAN cable can be kept connected. ( Windows 7)

finally it worked. what i did was just restarted both my laptop and computer. reboot 192.168.1.1.

my new question is how to add more security to my wifi connection? like password?

Select PPPoE mode in modem router.
Enable DHCP give range say 192.168.1.33 to 192.168.1.10 or UpNP in modem.
Check without any security key. If OK.
Then

Dear Friend
Actually you do not need to follow MAC ADDRESS Step you can skip it or leave the space blank. I did the same and am successfully using my two laptops and one Desktop PC(with USB WIFI TXRX Module) since last six months
