Hello Sir, i have new info about my problem posted above!!!!!!!
Just now i returned from BSNL, there i spoke with the person whom i gave the plan-change request. He told me that my plan has been changed on 2nd of October 2010 to Home-125!!!!!!! So, i told him that i was using Night-Unlimited based on my Order-Status and usage information based on Usage Detail Portal, he told me to call a BSNL Officer at Khandwa (This is my Telecom-Circle, its in M.P.).
Now, when i called that person he told me that whatever i had downloaded from 3rd October 2010 will be charged because my plan was changed on 2nd of October!!!!!!! I told him the same thing that i was using Night-Download only after checking Order-Status & Night-Usage (which were, obviously, zero till 6th of October), still he said data.bsnl.in is old portal now so don't believe it, hence according to him i will be charged for all the night-downloads from 3rd of October!!!!!!!!!
So, please suggest me something, i got my new Customer ID from him & have registered on Self Care Portal to view the new Usage-Statistics. I am about to get an heart-attack imagining the bill which will come in November!!!!!! I have saved the pages and screenshots of my order-status & usage detail (which i had attached above), will they be of any use if i get huge bill?????
My dad will kill me if the bill comes that much high!!!!!! What do you suggest????? What is my fault in all this????? I am crying while typing this!!!!! Please help me!!!!!!

So sir, what do you say? They have added all the downloaded data to my chargeable units!!!!!! I am going to get the October bill of 2.6 lacs!!!!!! How can i pay this?????? I have already posted the portal screenshots above in the starting of this post, is there any fault of mine in this whole issue??? Also, in one the screenshots, which i am posting now, the outstanding bill amount is shown as almost 8000 bucks!!!!!! How is that possible? For the months of August and September we haven't got the bill because BSNL staff said that the new billing system is going to be introduced based on CDR so we will get the bills late and during those two months my Broadband plan was Home 500, i had not used my 2.5 GB limit during those months!!!!!!! Moreover, i had not crossed even 2 GBs for those months!!!!! So, how the out standing amount is shown as 8000??????

Please help me sir, i am in a great tension, i can't inform all this to my papa at present. If possible please give me your contact number or something, i will die because of all this!!!!!!

I think you will be lucky if you get a 2 lakh rupees bill. It will make it evident that there is some mistake in the bill calculation. If you get such a bill, use the screen shots you have taken before and show it to the accounts officer. Make sure that you are accompanied by someone who is good at negotiating. The only way out is talking to the accounts officer. It is purely their fault and you can prove it too. If does not work for you, you can also file a petition at customer court. But I think the accounts officer will be able to settle the issue. Can you please quote the effective date of Home 125 plan.

Hello there, don't know what the f*ck is going on at BSNL!!!!!! Just now i received BSNL's Broadband Weekly Alert on my mobile phone. It states that my usage till 02:38:41 hrs of 12/10/10 is only 917 MB!!!!!!!!!

Can anyone explain me the whole scenario please??????? Am i really going to get the huge bill or the chargeable units shown on new portal are just a total of my data usage since the start of broadband connection?????? I am totally helpless now, if the bill comes too high then i will really commit the suicide and will blame BSNL totally for my death in death-note. I am really serious!!!!!
 
Don't loose hope. :console: Wait till the bill comes. May be you will get a decent bill. Or call the accounts officer and ask him how much your bill will be.

Hello Sir, i think i need to explain everything in detail here. Actually, my Telecom Circle is Khandwa but the city where i stay is Burhanpur which is 90 KMs away from Khandwa. So, if i want to meet AO i have to go to Khandwa either by bus, train or bike.

Today i was going to Khandwa on bike but at the last moment i thought to meet my JTO here at Burhanpur before leaving for Khandwa. I went to BSNL here and met JTO, i know him very well. He is just 3 to 4 years elder to me by age, even he know me very well. I again placed my issue in front of him. I even showed him the usage details shown on new CDR portal and also the screenshots of 6th October. He is very very cooperative and listened everything in detail, observed everything and then told to wait untill the bill for August-September and October comes. According to him bill may be even normal because there is a clear fault of BSNL in shifting the Usage-Details from old to new portal!!!!!! He even told me if i need to meet AO in future then he (AO) will consider this issue because he is also a very cooperative person. He even assured me full help from his side, if required, at the time of speaking to AO!!!!!!!

Apart from that he said that even he or other BSNL officers are facing problems due to CDR system!!!!!! He said that everyone at BSNL is agree that CDR portal is a big headache!!!!!! He said that BSNL has outsourced CDR project from TCS (TATA Consultancy Services) which, in turn, has outsourced the software needed for this project, from another vendor!!!!! And neither TCS nor that software-vendor is cooperating to each other. So, even BSNL is facing hell lot of problems due to this!!!!!!

At last, he said not to go to Khandwa at present!!!! When i was getting down from the BSNL office i met another JTO here, i told him the whole issue. He said that let BSNL give the bill of say 6 lacs, there is nothing to worry!!!!! He said if, the person whom i spoke with (first JTO), has given me the positive response, then there is nothing to worry!!!!!! He said nothing will happen, according to him if someone gets so huge bill then BSNL calculates and checks everything atleast 5 times before generating the bill!!!!

The person i spoke first is an SDO and not a JTO(sorry for that)!!!!! He also told that as a customer i can even speak to TDM at Khandwa (if required)!!!!! He said that he is also very good person in all such issues!!!!!

So, what do you say now sir????? Should i be relieved now?????

I myself has once paid Rs. 2,500 a month when I was expecting that amount for the whole year. Nothing to worry. Keep your screen shots intact. Even these threads are proof that you were a victim of unprofessionalism by BSNL.
