buy 250gb wd or 250 seagate?

i want to buy a new harddisk for my computer.normally ide harddisk attach to my computer.but i buy ide to sata converter so i can attach sata harddisk.plz help me which sata harddisk is best 250gb wd or 250 gb seagate or 250 gb samsung.plz help i want to buy it soon.

I would go with WD .. I recently got a 500GB WD HDD and its giving me awesome performance..

seagate gives 5 yr warranty while WD gives 3 year warranty.these days warranty is very important with hard drives. thats why i prefer seagate.even in pen drives, i specially go for kingston because of its 5 yr warranty.i dont store any important data on my drives & whatever few stuff that i want safe is always backed up on dvds.so if the drive fails, i'm guaranteed a replacement for the next 5 years!!talking from performance wise what i've seenif u are buying WD black caviar internal drive which has significantly better performance than seagate then fine else i dont find the regular drives of WD any better than seagate

Seagate anyday! And please dont buy Samsung, almost all the people i know with Samsung HDD's have had problems.
