I have been looking for a new camera in the range of 10k-15k for quite some time now but haven't been able to make a decision. Here are the ones I have shortlisted :
1. Sony DSC-H100 : https://www.flipkart.com/sony-dsc-h100-point-shoot/p/itmddzq3znfydh6h?pid=CAMDDZQ2JNVKZYYW&ref=74234074-1b56-4c45-8672-72205abd5119&srno=m_1_1&otracker=from-search&query=sony%20dsc%20h100
2. Nikon L310 : https://www.flipkart.com/nikon-coolpix-l310-point-shoot/p/itmd7vggudfxzgss?pid=CAMD7VGFFAFGJMJ2&ref=5089c568-c343-4664-8beb-478d322520d6&srno=m_1_1&otracker=from-search&query=nikon%20l310
3. Nikon L810 : https://www.flipkart.com/nikon-coolpix-l810-point-shoot/p/itmd72tnzmfjkagz?pid=CAMD72TJQ3VHFDW3&ref=21a51b85-0313-4b45-9200-ee6f4948bf76&srno=m_1_1&otracker=from-search&query=nikon%20l810
4. Sony DSC-HX 10V : https://www.flipkart.com/sony-cyber-shot-dsc-hx10v-point-shoot/p/itmd8xrphr4xrzzg
5. Nikon S8100 : https://www.flipkart.com/nikon-s8100-point-shoot/p/itmcuts2fmabsyy4?pid=CAMCXYHPJVHXFUZX&ref=93e26145-7592-4990-82ad-85e0d091a2cd&srno=m_1_1&otracker=from-search&query=nikon%20s8100
Background : I had come up with 1st 3 cameras initially based on my budget of 10k-15k and the ones with the best zoom in that range. Only 1 problem, turns out all of them had AA batteries and from what I seem to hear the battery backup is relatively poor on cams with AA batteries. So I started my search again, this time looking for cams with Li-ion batteries and based on a quick search on IBF someone seems to have mentioned that Sony DSC-HX 10V is one of the best cameras in this range. The 5th one is just a cam that a friend had bought a while ago and seemed okay.
So what do you people suggest? Does battery backup really suck on cams with AA batteries? What has your experience been with them? Also if you have any other camera suggestions you're welcome to post below!

My experience with AA battery ones had not been good. Other wise any point and shoot with a good optical zoom and lens should be fine.
