One provider (SHOWTIME) in Dubai provided a special STB (costly too) which had 2 tuners & its processors was capable of decoding & processing 2 streams (channels) at a time. So this STB was able to output 2 different channels. STB had 2 outputs & 1 extended remote sensor device with long cable (15-20 m) to be used in other room. 2nd output was in sync with 2nd remote sensor & channel change was able to control in other room.
I had tested that & worked vey fine

 Good answers to the IMPOSSIBLISTS here !!!

Only possible, if the STB has more than one tuner. As far as I know, Airtel might come with two tuners and a hard disk. Not confirmed though. But outside India, its more common. I've worked on motorola boxes with 4 tuners.
