Cannot Chande Modem Modulation!!

yes if i switch to ADSL2+ i get disconnections when phone rings or is picked up (even with splitter). but with G.DMT it doesnt disconnect at all.

my current modem (UT STARCOM W3002 G1) doesnt seem to support any other modulation other than G.DMT since i cant find any option to change modulation in the modem configuration page.

The menu pages almost similar to Beetel 220Bx ( except for wireless part)

As per warning I left DSL settings in default mode ( all selected ) earlier! I did not/could not understand it !)
Recently only I tried to select one by one and see the difference.
GDMT with lower net speed seems the most stable connection.

Technical Details
see whether new Utstar is same type.
See under Advanced. usually option should be available.
Difficult to get CC/FW update from UTSTAR and Huawei. They ask us to contact the ISP !
Even then from some Russian sites we get some additional information. will keep in mind.

checked it buddy..its for UT starcom UT300R2U..yes checked the advanced option..coudnt find the modulation option anywhere...anyways its ok..!! i just wanted to try adsl+ modulation out to see how good it is..will stick with G.DMT for the time being
