as i mentioned in the earlier post, this came with a car dock that i purchased few years ago. specifically to make a smooth surface on the dashboard for you to fix the dock on. i did not use that dock for more than a few days and never used this part. so i still have it with me.

3m is the provider of the glue. not the dock. 3M branding basically is a good indicator that the glue is going to be pretty solid. i kind of want to avoid sticking this on the dashboard because it would be hard to remove it if the location does not turn out to be okiesh.

mine came with the dock itself. but this looks like something that can come handy for you. of course, you linked to .com and the price of this is more than the price of the dock
