Careless response from mtnl

Raghav B: are you getting speed up to 2Mbps?

no 512kbps up and down

and yeah i know i should have given them some time but i got some nightmares which reminded me of my past experiences of speed change with mtnl (took 21 days and 14 days when i upgraded from 256ul to 749nu twice in a 6 month period) so thought this time i should attack from day 1 lol.

mtnl cc su*ks like anything along with their staff who usually dont give a damn about the law (remember they are sarkari babus)..

dont know when will they train their staff :wall:

edit - and im not satisfied with the speeds that im getting (getting 50kbps down and 45 kbps up) whereas i should be getting somwhere around 60 down/up

u should get min 80% of speed opted as per law....which u're gettin - so u couldn't do much...

yeah that's what irritates me that i cant do anything about it..my cousin has airtel and he is currently on the 512 UL plan and he gets download speeds of around 90kbps.. i feel like switching to airtel but want to avoid the headache of changing isp.

well, also look at the price before comparing MTNL with airtel..MTNL provides u 512 UL combo for 1299 rs and 500 calls free while airtel charges 1450 rs for the same.MTNL syncs u to 512 kbps, that means you will loose some bandwidth as data loss while on the other hands airtel syncs its users to a higher rate.
