Carrier Aggregation on Airtel 4G LTE

Here Airtel always stays on 3CA allowing devices to utilize full capacity of the tower. But Jio even if we're near to the tower it connects to 3CA only for some secs and latches to Intraband 2CA.

Maybe that's the reason all the bands of Airtel become slow during peak times and in Case of Jio only Band 40 becomes slow.

@RummaanKhan Yes jio directs the traffic to its b40.

Airtel focusing on giving better speeds by using full capacity ends up slowing down.

I think airtel should cap the speed to even 60Mbps during peak hours so that internet will be usable in airtel during peak hours and in none peak hours speed should be max.According to me capping the speed all time and not capping speeds atall both are not good.

in some sites 2x2 mimo works on b1 in airtel

Speed was good

B3 was lot faster though

Is anyone here using the new Samsung Galaxy M30s . I f then could u please share experience with download speeds etc.Does M30s supports 3CA with Airtel. Also I want to know whether M30S supports the new advanced HD+ VOLTE codec as it is used by Airtel in many places.Please share Your experience if anyone is owning M30s.I am planning to buy and is torn between Poco F1 And M30S.Kindly reply...

@philip Though i don,t have m30s but it does not support CA as i have heard from others.People are also complaining about its reception.You can better buy poco f1 it supports CA.Though i am not 100 percent sure about m30s, its CA support but i am 100 percent sure that m30S will not support 3CA

@RummaanKhan in MP i got only b3 10mhz and 40 20mhz even b40 10 mhz was not there.TN has better spectrum than MP and i think TN is only utilising full capacity of airtel with CA.here my state have b1,b3,b40 10mhz and 20mhz both but still no CA other than 3+40 which is also useless

Airtel also has band 1 10mhz in MP. It does not take part in Ca only band 3+ 40 combinations available

@nitinmits i had airtel sim on samsung phone which was unrooted and i only saw b3 10mhz and b40 20mhz.So i thought b1 is missing.But i am sure b40 10mhz was not there as phone was always on b40 with 20mhz bw
