In Bhopal airtel 3+40CA was slower compared to single b40.This thing even happens in my state

Realme X2 pro First phone from realme which supports CA in india.But only 2CA that also only on band 3 and band 5 no CA on b40.confirmed by my friend.

Try with other sites.In my home 3+40 CA again started working.it again gives less speed than individual bands.Though in Op7 its not a problem i can lock bands but in unrooted phones which supports 3+40CA it makes the experience worse.

CA is Working now and Even here 3+40 CA gives same speeds as single Band 40 only 3CA gives better speeds.

Yes airtel has 4x4 mimo on both 20mhz and 10mhz b40 carrier

Still it is 2x2 in entire Chennai. I don't know what on earth will happen if they enable 4x4 MIMO.
