Carrier Aggregation on Airtel 4G LTE

@nitinmits it depends on the BW of the Band. In ur Circle u have 10Mhz in B5 so its using One Big antenna. But in my circle Both antennas are smaller one but in some towers it's using one Big antenna for B40 which doesn't support Intraband CA but provides great coverage. And also in the pic I sent even VIL tower is also there in same place.

In Rural side of TN Jio is using 3 antennas in Some towers. The antenna looks like Airtel's antenna but Bigger than the one used by Airtel.

@RummaanKhan the 3rd antenna is an additional sector installed for increasing load. That additional antenna has all 3 bands in it. Before my area got a new Jio site they installed additional sector on the old tower which served my area with poor signal. In some rented towers they are using single antenna for 3 bands. In their own towers they are using grey color antenna for 850Mhz, and a white one for both 1800,2300Mhz.

This is my area Jio site traditional triangle one. In this sector positioning is difficult it seems. It has no direction for 4th sector if required. But nowadays they are going for square shaped one like other companies. In square shaped towers installing additional sector is easy since it has dedicated space for 4 sectors.

In some cases they are using bigger grey antennas, smaller white color for 850Mhz. i don't know why may be for higher coverage. And there is no 4x4 MIMO for 850Mhz.

In initial days of Jio they had the poorest network, tower planning. After few years only they got mature. Now they have almost 7 lakhs + towers
