Carrier Aggregation on Airtel 4G LTE

This is my area Jio site traditional triangle one. In this sector positioning is difficult it seems. It has no direction for 4th sector if required. But nowadays they are going for square shaped one like other companies. In square shaped towers installing additional sector is easy since it has dedicated space for 4 sectors.

In some cases they are using bigger grey antennas, smaller white color for 850Mhz. i don't know why may be for higher coverage. And there is no 4x4 MIMO for 850Mhz.

For 10Mhz BW it uses Even Bigger grey antenna. I've seen that in Jharkhand circle, Mumbai and Himachal Pradesh too. In HP Jio has 10Mhz in Both B3 and B5.

The biggest problem I have personally faced with jio is congestion rather than the other problems.
I would get great speeds in Non-peak hours but during peak hours the same site would give absolutely trash speeds. This is because of every tom dick and harry having a jio sim as a data sim.
Yes all because of this shit gb/day concept. Also they are adding more customers with out buying additional spectrum which is the major cause for capacity bottle neck.

After all these jokes, next comes the 5G.
It's definitely going to be like driving a really fast sports car in a single lane crowded village road.
No proper fiber backhaul, expensive spectrum, and Crowded urban dwellings will make it impossible to deploy proper 5G in India (at least mm-wave).
If at all deployed it would be in Sub-6 GHz 5G.

@Vishal | Chennai Exactly!
The problem is the Indian Government is trying to force the 5G auction down the operators throat but nobody is ready for a 5G auction in the near future.
They are not even capable of buying spectrum for 4G which is much needed. For now, they are refarming the 3G spectrum in many circles.
I am waiting for the day when airtel switches off its good for nothing 3G network and uses it 4G.

@vignesh_venkatesan ya i am also looking forward for Airtel. Vodafone Idea has plenty of spectrum in hands but under utilising it. Airtel has 3G spectrum for backup, they will refarm it to 4G. Jio has nothing special in spectrum, their 850Mhz from rcom is itself at risk of surrender. If Jio doesn't buy spectrum wisely in the upcoming auction they will be doomed with 5Mhz speeds.

VIL is improving their network in Kerala before i used to get 8-15 mbps on Band 3 20mhz and now they added band 8 5mhz and started Aggregating them now the speeds have been improved

i think VIL is now focusing on improving the quality of their network trying to uncap their speeds maybe
