Airtel has disabled even Intraband CA. Speeds are pathetic. Guess they are going to refarm 3G spectrum. EARFCN of all the bands have been changed

Are you in roaming ? Or in Chennai ? I guess in Chennai also they are going to split band 40 to 15-15 and shut down 3G

Airtel has Reframed 3G spectrum to 4G in many areas.Still it appears almost useless due to 1x1 Siso.Max i have got 30 to 35Mbps on b1 10mhz in best signal in non peak hours.Until they use 2x2 mimo on B1 its almost useless.

Yes was abled to check speeds of Single band 1 was just getting 12Mbps Down.

@Vishal | Chennai Yes it will be great.But i hardly think they will do it as they don,t even have 4x4 mimo for b3 where as VIL has 4x4 mimo on b3 in some sites.

Bsnl 4G uses 2x2 mimo on b1 5mhz.

There is one advantage of having single vendor partnership like Jio with samsung is uniform network performance all over India. Their pan India CA and 4x4 MIMO is an example of it. But if samsung closes networking business means it will be tough for Jio.

Airtel and Vodafone is a mess in this case 2G is one vendor and 3G and 4G different vendor
