yes try with your idea sim.Just open service mode as soon as you insert sim as after few seconds it will stop searching for network and will show sim not provisioned.

Finally Tried it using BSNL sim card and it got connected. Signal is improved a lot than before.

@RummaanKhan i tried using jio sim on my old LYF mobile. Enb is correct i had a idea sim 2 years ago it's the same old idea enb and signal strength. Even the frequency 1418 is same for both of us.

@RummaanKhan your vil band 3 signal is average only. They need more towers in your area

@Vishal | Chennai actually it's better than before coz I used to get -110 to -120 dB on Band 3. Tower is 400Mts away

They've done integration in my area bcoz there are zero or very less VIL users here. Even with -120dB I used to get 5 - 10Mbps.

Just checked today. Airtel started using 20 + 10 Mhz of Band 40(2300 Mhz) CA in Chennai. Speed was a bit low, maybe because of peak time. Can able to hit 25 Mbps.

Here airtel with 3+40 is very slow.Every time this CA gets active here and gives slow speed.
