@Vishal | Chennai Yeah. Even Vodafone and Idea is merged in North Chennai.
@RummaanKhan Vodafone also should shut down 3G since their band 1 LTE is already present it will help them but they are in a situation of bankruptcy.
Anyone here from Karnataka on VIL There is only band 3 ? or band 3 and band 8 only ?

@amalrakoff 3 months ago it was Band 3 10Mhz only.
I hope Airtel will make it atleast 2x2 MIMO for band 1 after full shut down of 3G. Also they should make sure they are ready for 900Mhz LTE for coverage now itself since they are using the same for 2G.

@Vishal | Chennai They won't shutdown 2G for now so we can't expect LTE 900 in TN Circle.

Shutting Down 2G can be a big loss for airtel.Still almost half of their total subscribers are using 2G Feature Phones.

But they can deploy LTE 900 with Dynamic spectrum Refarming if they have atleast 10Mhz.
