Man, it was hard seeing Dr. Sivan breaking down like that. ISRO scientists were heartbroken too.
It seems, there was lot of pressure on scientists from Govt. to launch at the earliest....... to divert attention from present financial crisis and further enhance PM's image. as is evident from the advertisement and promotion for its launch.

One more half baked project from present govt. after Demon & GST.

Chandrayaan 2 project was already behind schedule. It was supposed to be launched in April 2019.

Are you fucking serious? You call this a half baked project? You clearly are an ignorant idiot.
This government or any government has nothing to do with spaceprojects. Show some respect for our scientist and if you cant then stfu.

this was a more ambitious and complicated mission, sometimes failures happen we should commend our scientists work to be able to deliver even with a shoe string budget they are given.

Lets not forget both PSLV and GSLV also failed initially. Yes, there was some changes in configuration of lander and scientist had to do a lot of work within last 2 years but that just nitpicking when a mission failed. There will always be chance of failing with such space mission failing and learning is part of it.

No amount of success can divert attention from poor economic condition, may be for a day or two headlines will be isro after that it will be business as usual.

All the promotion and awareness was because people were really excited from Isro's previous success and chandrayaan -2 orbiter is still working.

Now you are acting naive and getting emotional...... If this was a successful what would have been todays headline........ Modi all over......

I am not denying any of the above.......... failure and success are part of projects and due credit should go to the scientist who have toiled for years but what is this Govt. doing....... this kind of drama never happened before.......
