Changing plan from 4mbps to 8mbps tomorrow

I am going to change my plan 4mbps upto 100GB plan to 8mbps upto 175GB (BBG Speed Combo ULD 2841)

I got this following doubts guys plz help.

1) I saw this plan is in promotional basis so if i put this plan it wont change after that 90 days time ?
2) I also saw with this plan there is static IP free in written request. Is it gud to get static IP for gaming pings? Coz. now in dynamic IP i see some gud gateways which got gud pings. So what if this static IP is one of bad gateway or static IP always get gud pings with gud gateway ?

I am sure i cant ask this in BSNL office tomorrow coz. most of them have no idea abt this. So please help guys

Nope, on bsnl routing sucks .My cousin works at a college which has a bsnl connection and a static ip but pings are bad on it even with a 10 mbps download speed.Regarding Bsnl pings, the less said the better :russianroulette:
