Chennai Express

Don't think there's anything wrong in it. In fact the the move can backfire as people may skip the movie feeling its not worth the money. To have earned 100 crores in just 3 days is commendable. And what I like is that so often rubbish movies earn for their star cast. At least that's not the case this time. The movie is actually good. The mouth publicity (word of mouth as they say) is also on the positive side. I will be surprised if Chennai Express doesn't go ahead 3 idiots in terms of commercial business.
I predicted it. The Movie doesn't deserve so much but knew that it would go on to become the highest grossing film in Bollywood.

Met a few friends/families. More than half of them said they really enjoyed it. I had no comments - especially since I have not watched it. But I guess these are the same folks who would enjoy Son of Sardar, Bol bachan etc as well...

When Chennai express makes more money than Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, you can't really blame just the politicians for everything that goes wrong with this country.

Even I enjoyed the movie. It was really good. But wasn't so good that it deserved to become the highest grossing Bollywood movie ever. And don't compare Chennai Express with Son Of Sardar or Bol Bachchan. Son of Sardar and Bol Bachchan were pathetic. Chennai Express is far better than those two.

Well, Bol Bachchan also grossed 100 Crores... So, why question Chennai Express' 150-200 then?

Looks like its on TV this weekend & all programs in Zee are dedicating 1-2 mins talking about it. Since I happened to cross by thrice on three different programs and managed to catch the saas/bahus take a break from their fights to talk about it, guess it must be much more time that they are talking about it.
