Any idea what will happen to my UPI ID which I am using via Google Pay app after the transfer to Axis bank?

I have asked the RM but he needs to check back himself doesn't know.

It doesn't seem to be addressed in the FAQ document.

Alrighty..consent given. Bye bye Citi, good dealing with your bank over a very long time. Other private banks don't quite match up to your levels of service and professionalism.

Tru dat... Signed up over a decade ago and NOT ONCE have I had to ever visit the branch for any sort of work to be done.

Been with Citi for 20 years this year this including credit cards and a SB/salary account. Regrettable to see a very good bank leave. Even their call centres/customer help lines are manned by people who know their stuff AND speak clearly and politely. To me they've been the gold standard in banking at least in my experience.

Some I know curse Citi. :) So, YMMV of course.

I am yet to get any mail from Citi. The only relationship I have is the Paytm card. Since that is not being transferred, maybe i have not yet got it? Or may get it later..

From the faq - i guess we will get some indication later.

In case any of your products could not be transferred to Axis Bank, we shall provide adequate notice to you and communicate the choices available to you.

I also got same email and i am sad that citi is leaving. I am confused whether to shift or not as I already have axis flipkart card.

I too have the FKT Axis card, .but I'll take a call on the Citi card next year when Axis actually takes over Citi's business. Till then it's business as usual.

Well, you can always wait and see what card/account etc is being offered - and then choose to stay or exit.

I was having SCB Landmark card and when their deal was closed, SCB gave me their Digismart card a year for free and then with charges, after a year when I said I wanted to close, they said that since I was their Landmark customer, they will make the Digismart one free for me. So, even with an offering that is not as good, you might be able to bargain parts of it, especially if the existing one had certain benefits, like no annual or monthly fee in my case.

I was asked for Consent when I logged in to Citi app on mobile today with buttons to give Consent. Faq screen was same as posted in earlier posts.
