Could anbody give me a step-by-step tutorial for scheduling a connection in bridge mode.?

Also how can I get back to the default router mode from my present bridge mode? .I have followed the instructions in this forum for converting to bridge mode.

I am using Flashget as download manager.Can it be used for scheduling downloads?

Step 1. Make a .bat file for connecting, say bsnldial.bat with the following line:rasdial connectionname username passwordfor e,g. if the name of your connection is kol-ras-br1, typeRASDIAL "kol-ras-br1" username passwordStep 2. Make a .bat file for disconnection, say bsnldisc.bat with the following line:RASDIAL "kol-ras-br1" /disconnectStep 3. Go to All Programs->Accesories->System Tools-> Task Scheduler and browse and add bsnldial.bat for 2.05 AM everyday and bsnldisc.bat for 7.55 AM everydayIt might also be wise to add bsnldisc.bat for 1.55 am everyday as it will disconnect your connection if it is connected from before.Scheduling the torrents and downloads has already been explained before so this is make things complete and foolproof...PS : I use a software named PC Auto Shutdown, for shutting down the pc at precisely 7:55am.
 
I am using Windows 2000 SP4. Iam not able to run Scheduled Tasks as mentioned by above user.The error log shows as below" 4.71.2195.6972"bsnldial.job" (bsnldial.bat) 1/4/2008 12:21:00 AM ** ERROR ** The attempt to log on to the account associated with the task failed, therefore, the task did not run. The specific error is: 0x8007052e: Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password. Verify that the task's Run-as name and password are valid and try again."Please help me.How can I revert back to the router mode configuration so that I can use the scripts provided by banda.?Iam using ut 300 r2u modem.

i prefer auto poweron and shutdown software because you can hibernate your pc at say 07:55 am and then can start unattanded at 02:05 next day...

so if you are not home for one or two days...pc will start at 02:05am software will launch cidial.exe to make bridge connection at 02:07am, after one second scheduling software will launch your favourite download manager...torrent client...

at 07:55 software will close download manager, torrent client, cidial.exe,
at 07:56 software will hibernate your pc and pc will disconnect from internet...and again in night pc will auto start at 02:05am automatically..

hi.. i am interested in your idea.. i already downloaded that software... but wat is that cidial.exe.. will it be possible in vista.. please help me..
 
karthiktha cidial.exe is a auto dialer software, so if connection drops in bridge mode it will reconnect. i have not tried it in vista, please check yourself, i dont like vista
