This company is so scummy lol. This was selling for around 9500 earlier today with a coupon (advertised price Rs. 12900). Now it is priced at Rs. 21900. The amount of margin they have on these devices is insane.

but coway has got better air flow than Philips as far as I can sense in my rooms.
although the sensor seems a bit faulty to me

I think i got overhyped by the reviews and YouTubers with some mentioning how they can breathe better and what not, In reality this purifier makes a lot of noise in Auto mode ,so much so that it becomes a distraction.

And I haven’t noticed any difference in air quality in the house
Just a damn dust collecting machine , I’m not sure if its doing anything to begin with.

that is weird. mumbai generally has better air quality than ncr. and you probably would find more difference later this year in november-january period. but hepa filtration should definitely be noticeable. it also takes care of dust. i hope the filter itself is not in plastic packaging.

noise is a completely different issue. auto mode is always going to be a mess if the purifier is not being used for longer periods of time. i would suggest running it at lower speeds for longer periods of time. auto/high speeds can be enabled if you are going out of the room for a while and so on.

i run my hepa device throughout the year at low speeds 24x7. and i can definitely notice the difference in quality of air when i am outside my room or outside even in the best of weather.

hmm that's interesting, i guess i will run it at low speeds from now and hopefully my purchase gets justified
