customer care is charging 50 ps/3minutes from airtel mobile

really very surprising that instead of giving service they charge for service.how telecom authorities allow such thing.
 
I'm not sure whether it is a policy. But in may 2010, all the telcom operators started charging money for customer care @50p/3min
 
Old news as someone already said. More than a year that this has been happening.
 
the best thing is to never call them yourself. make them call you. with airtel it is easy. send an email or a tweet to airtel presence. and then wait for them to call you back.
 
but i think they would still block your access to customer care if you call in multiple times in a short period of time?
 
But they charge you only for inquiries. Dial 198 for complaints and they are still FREE !!!
