Are you on Windows 8.1? If yes, on start menu there would be an arrow pointing down, somewhere on the right hand side. Click that and try locating it. Or you can just type cm installer or cyanogen whatever it's called and it should show.

Nope it's not there. I ran the install file every time yesterday.
I figured that the install file needs to be run every time. I wonder why it shows as installed in Control panel>Programs

CM installation has become so easy now. last time i had installed was 2 yrs back.
Will install it when the stable kitkat for GN comes.

@admin any performance/battery improvements over the stock build?

Performance is actually quite better. Battery life... I think I should just get a new battery :D
Just install it. :D KitKat might take a long time to come and might not be as stable because of the lack of drivers.
If I can do it, you can too :D
As for the installer... I am guessing there is some bug. Because the installer does not reinstall the app. It just starts the app.

The installer must be an executable like Odin then.

Admin you have stock CM right? If you feel up to it, search for Xposed on XDA, and install it. It's something I recommend to everyone on any rom. Also search for Greenify on Play Store. Install that. And AdAway too. :)
