I really cannot make sense of the screenshots... I am posting this from the amoled theme and it seems to work as expected

This box is appearing due to the theme? I am using AMOLED.

It is random, sometimes happen and sometimes it does not. This box appears when I click on reply.

see if you can get used to the not so great default dark theme from the footer option (Default 2024).
