what i cannot gauge is what has static & dynamic ip got to do with this disconnection thing? the lower the connections at any given moment of time, the lower the revenues to be earned by `bsnl'. a dynamic i.p. remains allotted to the person who last used it for roughly 5 minutes after he/she disconnects or is force-disconnected.. doubt whether `bsnl' can know in advance that someone will be connecting within the next 6 minutes so that they can disconnect another.
juhitoy, it would be best if you could try to get in touch with some other people who are in the same exchange as yours and try to find out if they face the same problem.. if yes, then the problem is with the instruments at your exchange. best is that you demand from bsnl to send an engineer with a laptop so that the problems can be shown to him at your place. just be persistent and they will send. best of luck.. Yeah, you are right. I should ask them to come here and check for themselves. But on the phone they say that they have got everything right and that the problem might be with my computer software and that their technical support is only for the modem and broadband.
I will some how try to get their tech engineer to check up at my desktop with his laptop.
Thank you for the suggestion.
