Delhi Police News & Updates

Fan photos from Delhi Traffic Police | Facebook

delhi traffic police has created a monster on their facebook profile pages.

people are posting photos taken on delhi roads claiming this car or that bike is breaking the law.

and DTP is responding by actually taking action on the basis of static photos.

this is one bad example. an argument is going on in comments.

the poster claims that the santro is parked in a no parking region.

i see the brake lights on. there is a very good possibility that the car is not parked there. someone might be sitting inside and waiting for someone else. or maybe just talking on the phone.

there are too many complications assuming that he is breaking the law by staying there.

this is a nightmare. anyone can post a photo of me and make claims about possible law breaking situations.

That no parking sign doesnt even seem to be legal sign.

It seems to be placed by random person who doesnt like ppl parking there.

some photo dont give enough proof... and police responded that they will take action! i just hope they will actually verify facts instead of blindly taking action.

:confuse: dont tell me now they will start asking for clues in serious cases through facebook etc

hehe right. their facebook page is getting rather interesting. in fact i have seen cases when some lady who i believe is the wife of one of the senior officer is participating in the conversations and actually getting into arguments. some kid posted on how bad the women drivers are in delhi. and mrs took offense in that statement saying i can show you proof about male drivers driving badly on delhi roads. it is pretty unprofessional overall. DTP's crappy website does not help too...

virender sehwag has got hair weaving done on his head? i thought he had gone bald!

i always find it funny when i see facebook and twitter logos in print ads. with no URL especially. look at the ad. it is designed like a web ad. i can click on the facebook logo to go to their fan page. sadly, i cannot click on a print ad. can i. :)

May be they expect every1 using internet to know abt facebook too :D
