Dialer software crashes and frequent disconnection

Hi,I have a fully updated Windows XP Home edition laptop and it is fully secured with the latest Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 (updated up-to-date) package, but my dialer software from EpiValley keeps crashing whenever I click on the SMS button. I am using Plug 2 Surf modem. Another problem is frequent disconnection from the net for no apparent reason whatsoever. It happens suddenly after 1 min, 1 hr, no pattern to that. Help me here. I need my connection to work all the time as per my job requirements ie being on the move all the time across the country. I have uninstalled and installed the dialer software many times but the problem is still there. Help please....

The dialer software always crashes on two actions

1 When I clickon the SMS Inbox icon
2 When I start the dialer and there is an auto reminder asking me whether I would like to import unread messages fom UIM card. Itgoes like...

There are messages in UIM card. Do you want to import them to the PC?

When I click on the yes button it starts importing the messages and then crashes for no reason.

Help me guys, I have reinstalled the dialer yesterday again with fully updated anti-virus and firewall.

Recheck correct dialer software for your connection. and for XP sp2/sp3 upgrade to sp3 if not done. Support for sp2 ends this JJULY 2010.
Not familiar with tataindicom BB facilities.
ANY company name for the Surf to
plug in USB modem ? Installation Cd? Drivers etc ?
You may also download Malware bytes latest and try.

Hi,I have sp3 installed long time ago. Dialer was installed from the CD and the right version is there. I have also downloaded the right dialer version from Tata Indicom site, despite installing and uninstalling many times it keeps crashing. No chance or spyware, virus etc, please help me, thanks

Hi,I use only the pre-paid Tata Plug 2 Surf USB modem (also called the Photon Whiz modem) and I do not have Tata mobile or landline or any other Tata services or products. Since my dialer software keeps crashing not allowing me to send or receive SMSes using which one can know the balance, how do I know the balance in my account? Is there a helpline number? Is it toll free? Please help me my life has been made hell due to this constant dialer crashes. Thanks.
