I have a BSNL 2G sim card and i use the BSNL 3G network to access internet.When i use it in my Nokia 5230 phone as modem i get around 130 KB/sec speed. But when i use the same in Huawei E1750 USB Modem i get only around 30 KB/sec speed. In both cases the sim card is 2G enabled and the network mode selected is UMTS (in nokia mobile) & WCDMA only (in USB Modem). Why there is so much difference in speeds?Can anybody inform me how can i improve the speeds?
