Thought giving dishtv another month and since morning i am unable to renew the account, they have worked hard to integrate a pathetic payment system.

Thing users or atleast I hate.

You login, select package, platinum shown and you have to select it,
then it shows utv pack @Rs.33 when you try to see whats included
big failure (total channels = 0)
Am i donating money or subscribing to a pack. WTF
then you have Dish HD charge with no mention of whats included, looks like
a money rip cause there's no confirmation shown what the hell you are subscribing.

After filling all the details, you are always shown higher price than previous month
and there's always a DAMN outstanding amount. did i ever paid less, Nope not in last 5 yrs. but
my tolerance is over now.

chalo, tolerate yaar, chill, who has the time to run for one stupid connection, you click next and again a bouncer, on that rechargeitnow site you need to fill your stupid name, stupid phone number again, I am not a typist who loves typing all day,
then you select card type, and guess what,
You are straight forward shown a Error message on citibank gateway.
Which i can challenge was not post processing error, nor browser error.
same browser I've made 5 online payments in last hour.
restarted system, browser, and If i was keen, i could have screencasted the whole payment system to show that
after rechargeitnow you are forced to a STATIC PAGE.


hello hello, we customers are not idiots and don't have stupid time for whole day long torture, to bang our head on your kiddish online renewal system. I my self own a e-commerce site since last 10 years, and one thing i know is, the easiest way to take payment is, give regular customer a straight forward details and link, Example-

(note: if dish kids have time, forward this to your web-tech dev. team, oh sorry they are
already so kiddish that they would need a decade to code such feature)

after login one should have
your VC number:xxxxxxxx
your package:xxxxxxxxxxxx
your monthly payment : Rs.xxx
click to pay, and done.

why the hell asking users to keen all ramayana again and again.

Dish is becoming crappy cable wala types, site is not only irritating, but is certainly
going to be a biggest disaster in dish tv history.

why the hell dish tv password needs to be changed every week or two, they don't store credit card info, this is just a harassment and nothing productive or towards security, stop removing basic things and including junk.

I AM SO DONE WITH THESE un-professional people, let my pack expire on 19th I'll post a video of dropping Dish HD from Roof top. lets see how strong it is.

Paise lene hon to lo, warna jao, there are many options available, who can serve us smoothly, and to avoid wasting time i would happily pay Rs.100 or more extra but will not tolerate wasting time or spending my free time writing such stupid renewal forms or making noise online to wake up your lazy support team, I am not going to attempt the transaction which looks shady.

BYE BYE DISH TV

Wake up before its too late.

Please tweet and spread this article as much as possible, lets find some transparent operator who can serve us the fed up gentry of dishtv.
 
Every word you have mentioned is so true.The whole website seems to have been designed with a single purpose in mind to harass the end user.I mean how crappy unprofessional it is to show a full page flash animation? I dont care about your stupid shitty animation.I want to get to the main page and that too fast.Absolute noobish stuff.That password changing stuff... damn. Its a good thing I dumped dishtv long time back and switched to d2h.Love their no nonsense website.Everything is so smooth.Simple plans,easy to understand and not a puzzle like dishtv. Asia's largest .. my arse.
 
Xmen360: are you using HD STB ?what is the best option and pricing one could expect for HD STB ? or HD DVR STB ?
 
Couldn't agree more with you ghpk.One thing which I wanted to share regarding DishTV's online recharging portal is that even if the payment is successful it directs to a page which doesn't exists! It sure scares the hell out of anyone who sees it for the first time.No confirmation of any sort! Only when one check's his email does it placate him.
 
Anyone else tried recharging online through Mac OS X? I've been trying since 2 months and expecting a fix but the portal seems to be incompatible. I wanted to explain this problem to the customer service but gave up the idea because I'll have to also explain to them what Mac OS X is and how different it is from Windows etc. etc.Dish Tv, we Mac users also exist!! Will I able to recharge on my Macbook without having to hunt for a PC next time??Thanks,Anees
