Do airtel plans differ in the same city?

I moved to bangalore and they airtel guy handed me a plan saying that it is the only one available in my area, he said the other plans have been stopped. This is a 8mbps 60gb plan. Not bad but I would want a plan with a bit more data.

Airtel has made changing plans very easy, so it I change to a plan that is available online for bangalore would it get approved? Anyone tried?

Bangalore and Hyderabad have Act Broadband. Hence special plans.

Get any plan you subscribe to, confirmed on email from airtel.

I just checked online and seems like the only 8mbps plan here is
Special 1099 8Mbps 60 GB.
Really ? wonder what made them limit the number of plans to compete with ACT ?
and i doubt the higher speed plans are available here, so stuck with this.

ACT isnt available here would glady switch if it was. :worried:

In Bangalore, ACT's service is a hit or a miss. So, you might not be missing much.
Rs. 1099 for 8Mbps / 60GB is quite decent by Airtel standards.

Considering I pay 1500 for 15GB, it is more than quite decent [emoji14]

1299 4mbps 15GB. Only reasonable plan these days. Has 1000 minutes of free call.
