Does Airtel takes this long?

I ordered for a connection on 29/9. Airtel gave me a phone only on Friday(5/10) with the guy promising me a broadband connection by 6/10. But, he never turned up, and I had to lodge a complaint. The guy on the line said it is normal, as it takes upto 15 days from phone connection to broadband connection. I felt it was pretty sh it of a response. Do they really take that long?

frankly, nobody wants to loose a customer, there may be delays... keep complainin daily... thats best u can do...when i took up airtel connection, it took 5 days in total...

Quote your Phone number allotted. May be , if you can collect the modem ( on rent ?)
and set up the connection yourself., inform them your nearest Airtel office.
This will ensure billing for the effective date for BB activation done.
