Drastic drop in speeds throughout the day

Haha. You should've been getting 16KBps (max) to begin with. You yourself have acknowledged that you got upto 50KBps which is close to 384Kbps or 512Kbps. So clearly you were getting MUCH more than your share. Welcome to reality :)
 
Reality is that since I joined the Airtel BB on 2 Nov last year,never ever have I been stuck with speeds so low for so long.I was then also on 128 unlimited ,now also I am on 128 unlimited.I want to know what has changed with the advent of this new tariff plan ?
 
i got a dose of (not "from") the runts at the helpline, the type that try to hide their fake accents through speaking fast - they're so good that it becomes hard to understand what they're saying.but that was just the beginning."your plan is home699plus""you will get a guaranteed speed of 64kbps i.e. 8k/s""the plan specifies 'upto' 128kpbs"this, after a week of 10-12k/s scumminess. something really really shady is going on.
 
Yes that is the mystery.If some upgradation process is going on as they say then how come every night religiously they jack up the speeds.
 
I am banking on the information posted on a blog that things would improve by mid feb.Otherwise I will hop out as soon as dataone offers an unlimited plan.
